Review of the Sex Game

After looking up the product page of The Sex Game, I didn’t have a very good idea of what the product was, except that it was a game. So, like a lot of people might be, I was curious about it, and I was lucky enoughIMG_1272 to get it for review.

When you open the box, here is what you’ll find:
1. A folded gameboard
2. A 6-sided die
3. A sample of flavored ID Juicy Lube
4. Two small “special” mints
5. Instructions

After unfolding the gameboard, I realized that it would not be perfectly flat, and the middle would be higher. Then, I noticed that my small apartment didn’t have half the rooms that were named on the board, like the stairwell, the laundry room, the garage or the hall. So, before buying you could make sure that you have access to a house or you decide whether you’ll reroll again and again or combine rooms to fit your apartment.

The die is particularly large, and the less dexterous will be able to pick it up with no issue. However, due to its size, the die does not roll much on the board after being rolled, so it’s easy to IMG_1273 cheat and “accidentally” let it fall in the room you want. The options on the faces are: Fondle, Massage, Oral, Solo, 69, and Extras.

The rules are simple, and consist in doing within 2 minutes whatever action is rolled in the room where the die fell, after which it will be your partner’s turn. The empty areas on the board will let you choose the act and the room. The only suggested twist is to specify the action like “Massage the ears…” Be imaginative, be yourself and you’ll have some fun.

The special mints will give a cool sensations during oral sex, for instance, you put it in your mouth and then softly blow on it. As for the sample lubricant, mine was Caramel Cream, but I assume the flavor could vary. It is obviously meant to sweeten the taste of your partner for when you can roll “Oral” (wink, wink). As other accessories of your own, you should consider having sex toys available and a few kinky things for the “Bondage” roll.

The rules say the timer starts from the moment where the die is rolled, but seriously, by the time you reach the garage, for instance, your time might be up. I know I’m a cheater, but I suggest bending a few rules like making it 4 minutes and having a kitchen timer to make sure you don’tIMG_1271 get more time. I like the concept of hurrying, but let’s be honest 2 minutes is not enough.

All in all, this game is a basic foreplay game, but it’s not the “Ultimate Foreplay” game as the box advertises, and I get the impression that even $15 is overpriced for what you get. At least if you eventually get bored with the concept of the gameboard, you’ll still be able to use the die again in the bedroom for other foreplay sessions. You might also want to check the other available games for couples and even try to combine this one to another to create the “Ultimate” game.
