Review of the Cal Exotics Lil’ Teaser Pixie
I got the Lil’ Teaser Pixie from California Exotics and I’ve got to say that I got an amazing surprise with this. It is a small, non realistic and completely non-threatening vibrator that packs a bunch.
The whole toy is 5” long, and about 3 ½” of that is insertable and made of pure silicone. The tip, of a diameter of ¾”, is the only part of the silicone that is not covering the motor, and it is somewhat squishy, and very bendable. There is also a small bump about an inch from the tip that is 1 ¼” wide across the shaft that has a diameter of 1” at its widest. The battery cap is made of ABS plastic and is a regular screw cap.
The silicone on this toy is slightly matted and velvety and has some drag to it. If you would like to know about the characteristics and how to care for a silicone toy, click here. The box says that it is a seamless design, but there is still a visible one running along the reflection point of the vibrator. It’s visible, but it cannot be felt. It comes in a nice purple color that is sure to please the eye.
There is only one vibration intensity with the Pixie, and it is activated when the battery cap is tightly shut. There is a convenient loop on the battery compartment that helps with controlling the toy during use and to make sure it’s closed tightly, but it does not really contribute in making the design pretty. My only worry about this plastic cap is that, since it has to be closed firmly, the anchor points of the loop could eventually crack and break. But then, I think it would take a long time for that to happen if it ever does.
Since the toy is small, the silicone that is covering the motor is really thin, and allows the vibrations in the shaft to travel really well, more than larger regular silicone toys. The vibrations are similar to that of a standard bullet, but slightly weaker and without the high pitch noise that comes with it. While it is not especially silent, it would not be heard through a closed door. The rounded head, where the vibrations are concentrated, felt good against the clitoris and the motor was not affected when I applied some pressure, but didn’t do much for me vaginally. What I liked for vaginal play was the intense stimulation from the vibrations and how the bump would feel against my g-spot, which worked much better than I expected it would.
The toy comes in a cute plastic display box along with generic vibrator instructions in several languages. However, the toy is very simple to use, and the instructions are not really needed. Even if it is subtle, the ‘On’ and ‘Off’ are indicated with an arrow on the cap, and once it is open, there is a rolled plastic with the diagram of the polarity for the N battery, which is also included.
The toy is waterproof, and will survive a quick soak in water, but since it is only sealed by soft plastic ring, it would probably not withstand an abusive amount of time in water.
I would recommend this toy for the beginner or to anyone that wants to play with a silicone bullet-like vibrator. Obviously, since I was myself surprised by how good it felt vaginally, I do recommend it to everyone, but I understand that experience may vary.
I’d like to thank Cal Exotics for giving me this toy, and you can get it from this from this sex shop I trust.
