When you get the Eroscillator 2 Top Deluxe, every part is wrapped or sealed in plastic (especially the handle), which also affect the type of refunds you can get. It comes in a cardboard box, but once the items have been unwrapped, it becomes hard to put it all back in there, so be ready to spare some other space for it. With no attachment the Eroscillator is 8” long, and is 2” wide at the base. The adapter comes with a full 13’ of cord and you shouldn’t worry about the distance between an outlet and your bed (I hope). And then, there are the five attachments that will be described below.

The Handle
The handle is surprisingly comfortable in any position and you shouldn’t have to stretch a muscle from holding it for a little while. The spirals along the 1 ½” handle of the toy help give a better grip when it comes to changing intensities, which can be done be slipping a panel on the side of the toy. The Eroscillator itself is made of plastic, as well as the necks of the attachments, and you can give it a more thorough wash by removing the cap and the slider. The handle can be washed under running water and is waterproof, but the Eroscillator should not be used where there is water for the electrical parts. 

It has three settings, one low that already feels strong, and two more that feel stronger and the last is even stronger. As for the noise level, it is low pitched and feels was amazingly low in volume for the power given, maybe slightly more than a vibrating cellphone. On the lowest setting, you can barely hear it. The toy will be louder if there is no attachment or if no pressure (minimal) is applied on the attachment.

The Attachments
The rest of the attachments are made of a flexible silicone-coated TPR, which is a hypoallergenic material that contains no latex, PVC or phthalates, but it is not completely non-porous (so consider a condom is you want to try an attachment anally). You will be able to clean them with warm water and soap, and if you must use lubricant, stay with water-based. Most attachments are roughly 3” in length and make it possible to easily access the clitoris during penetrative sex. The five attachments included are (from left to right on the picture):

1. The French Legionnaire’s Moustache
This one is definitely the oddest and at first I really believed it would hurt. For this reason, it was the very last attachment I tried and after removing the plastic protector, I realized that the nylon bristles were quite soft and they could be used to tease and tickle. The instructions say that it could be used internally as well, but I’d rather not – I would not want stuff to get in the roots of the bristles. I’m thinking that it might be an attachment that would feel good on the scrotum and the shaft of the penis.

2. The Golden Spoon
The hollow of the golden spoon is nice if you do not like direct stimulation on the clitoris, but I preferred the back that would cover the entire clitoral area. It is actually the attachment that I liked best.

3. The Cup & Ball
The Cup could also be used for even more indirect contact with the clitoris and for nipple stimulation. The Ball is similar to the back of the Spoon, but has a smaller surface to play with. The Cup & Ball could be interchanged with the Golden Spoon and the differences would be minor ones as they’re very similar when oscillating.

4. The Seven Pearls of the Orient
The Pearls are meant for internal stimulation (vaginal or anal), but I also liked to place it along my clitoris and put the smaller bead at the entrance of the vagina. For this one in particular, use a condom for anal play unless you never intend to stimulate other areas.

5. The Grapes and Cockscomb
This side I prefer is the Grapes as you can use on the clitoris and internally to reach the g-spot, and with the power it comes with, you should be able to be very stimulated as well. The Cockscomb is just odd, and I didn’t find any particular use I preferred. The instructions mention labia stimulation, but I wasn’t impressed.

Other Accessories
As you can see on the picture, there is a plastic bag or pouch included for storage, but it’s cheap and makes me go “meh”. It does not even close and even if you put the bag in a drawer, it might fall on the side and the pieces could slide out. I recommend using a satin wine bag if you can get your hands on one, you can often buy those during Christmas time and they serve as oversized drawstring bags.

As for the DVD, it contains customer opinions and a sort of endorsement interview with Dr. Ruth. The whole thing lasts about 10 minutes and acts as an advertisement for the product as it keeps on promoting its virtues and its advantages on a couple’s sex life (that part could apply to any sex toy though). They probably considered that a number of people, men and women, who receive this product as a gift and are unfamiliar or reticent to using sex toys, might need positive arguments in order for them to keep the Eroscillator.

The DVD, the bag and the burgundy box were contained in a larger plain cardboard box that protected everything well during shipping, but I didn’t think it would be useful to take a picture.

My Opinion
The toy is amazing, as I was able to reach 5 orgasms in a single session without feeling numb, and the only reason I didn’t continue is that I was myself tired – I knew the toy would keep on giving me orgasms easily. This toy will get you there, and if it does not, there is a 30-day return policy (not a complete refund though) with the maker.

However, as I will be using some attachment parts less frequently than others, I think that the  Eroscillator should better be sold alone with a basic attachment, like the Golden Spoon, so that anyone could buy all the attachments that they want when they want. Having more options would make the initial price a lot more affordable, because a starting price of $139, and higher depending on the kit, is too much for a lot of people. But then, it is good to note that the Eroscillator 2 Top Deluxe is more powerful than the Eroscillator 2 Plus (by 35% I heard), and is the “cheapest” available kit to get that extra power, so it’s hard to say what’s the value of the extra power in relation to the attachments.

The Nubby Softee, part of the Basics Essentials collection and designed by Cal Exotics, well deserves its name: it has nubs, it’s soft and bendy in the middle of the shaft, and from its design, I could expect it was made for shallow penetration. All right, I know it’s more information than what the name could give, but it’s still true.

When I look at it, I keep thinking that it looks like a candy pink space rocket. It’s not like I can help it by the way it has a thinner tip and how the nubs are placed. You can see the three rows of circular nubs starting at the very tip, which varies between 1” and 1 ¼” in diameter, and there is another row of oval nubs before the first wrapped bump around the shaft. After the bumps, the shaft widens to reach a good 1 ¾” in diameter, but you’d have to be really motivated to get that part in.

The shaft of the Nubby Softee is made of TPE and the base is made of ABS plastic, and they are two very good materials for sex toys as they are not very porous and have no smell or taste. The toy has a wide soft seal around the battery cap, which makes it waterproof – yup, tried, tested, soaked and it even floats. At the tip of the Nubby, we can see the motor of the toy, and this is why the vibrations are the strongest at that location. Between the motor and the battery compartment, the shaft can bend from pressure, but it won’t stay in a bended position. That feature becomes interesting if you do not like to have a lot of pressure applied on the clitoris if someone else is using the toy on you, which also prevents thrusts that could be painful.

The vibrator is turned on my turning a dial at the base clockwise, and you’ll go through  escalating levels of vibrations, going from medium low to a fairly high intensity (scale written on the dial). The dial has some resistance for turning, and I had to grip it with two fingers. And unlike what’s written on the packaging, it’s not whisper quiet. On the highest setting, it’s got a loud buzz noise and even the dial makes some type of metal grating sound – but I had not noticed the first times I tried it… could be new. It is powered by 2 AA batteries, but they are not included.

All in all, this vibrator has interesting features, and is particularly powerful. I could feel the nubs really well and, during penetration, I could not really feel the bumps when I would reach the middle part, except that it felt like a natural stop, as if I could not go deeper. This is a toy that is reasonably priced ($16) and is worth it if the features are what you are looking for.

What I like about reviewing sex toys is that we often get the chance to try toys that we’ve been wondering about for a while but were never sure if a toy worked well or not. This time, it’s a type of clitoral pump that I wanted to try and that Cal Exotics gave to me for review, and it’s the Decadent Clitoral Arouser. It didn’t perform exactly like I thought it would, but I had a very nice surprise anyway.

So here are the basics, the Arouser is an large oval 3” long and 1.5” large, that has a number of nubs inside the concave area. On top of that, a small bullet, powered by a N1 battery (included), is inserted in the little bird and give extra sensations. The bullet power is gradual and goes from low to a medium high and is fairly quiet (much less than a bullet for sure). From the oval section starts a small tube that goes to the pump (total length of 23”), and all the parts look well-made and connect very well. The length is fine for solo or couple play.

The clitoral pump is made of soft TPR, but it still could be softer; it bends when you touch it with your hands, but it returns to its initial form when held against the body. If you want more information on the properties and how to take care of TPR, click here. Note that since the opening of the tube is at the base of the nubs, you must not immersing the toy in water. I would wet my fingers and add some soap and careful rinse it afterward. The handle was easily wiped clean after use too. Also, since the tube is at the base of the nubs, I suggest that you only apply lubricant on your body and not directly into the hollow area, or it would be easy for the lubricant to be pumped into the tube. After a couple of use, a little bit of lube got into it, but as it dries off, the tube does not get jammed.

So far when it came to creating a minimum of suction, I had to hold it down to my body to make sure that all the sides remained in contact with me, and it did help that I had some labia skin and lubricant to create some suction. Once an initial suction is created, it becomes easier to hold to it through pumping as it removes air and brings your skin closer to the nubs, and eventually massages you. The suction wasn’t very strong and if you stop pumping, the suction gradually goes down, and this is why it is possible to pump more or less fast without creating too much suction.

There is also a black button near the pump that is used to release all pressure created, and it can become useful if you feel like the suction is a little too much to handle. At one moment, I became very sensitive, obviously from the constant pumping and having more blood flow in that area, so I had to stop and moved on to something else, but I did not experience any discomfort.

The package says that the bird beak and the tail can be respectively used for clitoral and erogenous zones stimulation, but I guess it all depends on how you set it up. I preferred using the pump over the clitoris and let it be stimulated by the “love tinglers,” which gave the impression of having some very quick tongue lickings (as fast as you are pumping that is). I did try to position the arouser differently, but it didn’t seem to work well, which is also why it would have been interesting if the material has been softer and allowed more possibilities. Still, the clitoral arouser did its job well, and even if the vibration traveled well through the toy, I could feel the suction and the nubs better without the vibration.

All in all, this is an interesting toy and quite cute to be honest, but I believe its performance depends hugely on the body it is used on, as it is more your body that adapts around it. And don’t forget that pumping helps with blood flow, meaning that it does the same thing as the clitoral gels on the market. Actually, you could also combine it with a gel and I’m sure the effect would stack. So use it to your advantage and use it as part of your foreplay. The Pleasure Kiss, by California Exotics, is most likely the most interesting g-spot vibrator I’ve had the chance to try. The vibrator made me realize there are more ways to stimulate the g-spot than with pressure or by pinpointing it. It’s made to cover the overall spot gently but accurately with a bunch of nubs or nodules on the head, and it works very well. It massages nicely the areas where you use it, like the g-spot or the clit. The nubs are very stimulating though, so if you are very sensitive, it might be too much.

This g-spot vibrator is not especially large and the overall shape is very pleasing to the eye. It is 8” long with an insertable shaft of 4 ½”. It has four rings along the middle of the shaft that I didn’t really feel during penetration, maybe it is because they are located at the slimmest section of the shaft (about one inch) or I didn’t feel them in contrast to the head, which has a diameter of 1 ½” at the tip. However, from the way I used this vibrator, on the g-spot and my clitoris, I do not think this vibrator really needs to be this long. In my opinion, if this vibe was shorter, it would still be as good.

The insertable section is made of firm, but not hard TPR, but the nodules have a lot of give. They easily move sideways under the thumb, and they are also quite resistant to wear and tear. I picked one between my nails and slightly pulled, and it’s obviously not going to break with normal use. The only disadvantage I find with the design, and it is a minor one, is that you have to make sure that the nub section is thoroughly cleaned, especially the outline around them, as it runs deeper on the sides. The base of the toy, which is made of ABS plastic, is somewhat large compared to the total size of the toy, but it also includes a strong plastic loop, with which you can attach a rope and leave it hanging in the shower. With it being waterproof, at least resistant to running water, it is an original feature. The control buttons are at the base of the toy, and are shaped like hearts. There is an ‘On/Off’ button and one to cycle through the vibrations. The ‘On/Off’ button is linked with a memory chip, which makes the vibrator turn on at the last setting that was used. If you are into a particular setting and won’t use the others, then it is useful, but it’s not a feature I personally find that useful. The battery compartment is opened by twisting the cap counterclockwise, and holds 2 AA batteries, which are not included.

With its 8 vibration settings, the Pleasure Kiss is sure to please in some ways. However, note that of all the pulsation and escalation modes, there is no constant vibration setting. With other vibrators, I’ll usually play around with the pulses and escalations before finishing with the constant one. But with this, I was actually forced to tease myself to orgasm. It’s not bad, it was interesting, but if you absolutely need the constant vibrations, usually going from low to high, you are not going to be happy with that one. The vibrations are all moderately strong and are strongest at the very tip of the toy, where the motor is.

The vibration settings are:
1. Slow escalating pulses from low to high (About 3 seconds).
2. Quicker escalating pulses from low to high (One second duration).
3. Even quicker escalation pulses from medium to high (Half a second).
4. Throbbing escalating pulses.
5. Very quick high pulses.
6. Quick high pulses.
7. Three high pulses, followed by a long one-second pulse.
8. Six quick high pulses, followed by a long one-second pulse.

I was intrigued by the unusual diamond shape of the Lustre Waterproof Vibrator, or Twisted Heart Lust, by Doc Johnson, and and could not help but wonder how it felt. When I received this toy, the package also said that it was ‘designed by women, in shapes only a woman can truly appreciate’. Then, I was definitely curious about the performance of this vibrator considering that this was such an oddly-shaped toy, and came with such a bold claim.

The Twisted Heart is a waterproof vibrator that looks like the tip of an arrow, where the widest point is 2” large. Unlike regular toys, this one is not circular, and has an oblong circumference of 5 ½”. This wide area is actually what feels really good against the g-spot, as long as the toy stays in the right alignment. There is an insertable length of about 3 ½” and the whole toy is 6” long. The purple part of this toy is made of non-toxic, phthalates-free TPR, making this toy relatively firm. The parts where it was the most give are at the tip and at the sides of the widest part. The battery cap, made of ABS plastic, opens by twisting the white band right next to the TPR section. To turn on the vibrator, the heart-shaped plastic part has to be turned clockwise. By turning it even more, the vibrations gradually increase, but the range of vibrations is from medium-low to medium-strong. To shut it down, turn it counter-clockwise. The vibrator does not come with instructions, but the polarity signs for the 2 AAA batteries (not included) are identified once the cap is open.

The vibrations are felt a little bit more strongly in the very tip of the vibrator. What I did not like with this toy is that when it was inserted and that I would turn it on or increase the intensity, the toy would also turn. The first time I used it, my hands were full of lubricant, and I thought it was turning because everything was so slippery, but it did even if I was careful not to get the plastic part wet. So let’s say I wanted to use it like a g-spot vibrator, by turning it on, it would move sideways and I would have to replace it where I wanted. It is not a particularly negative point, but it was still slightly annoying.

So here’s the verdict… this is a good g-spot and vaginal vibrator, which also works well as a clitoral vibrator, but like I said it’s not perfect. Vaginally, whether the larger side is used vertically or horizontally, it’s going to feel good. In my case, it would hit the g-spot without stretching me much, which was an interesting feeling. I think most of the other toys that were good at hitting the g-spot felt much larger than this one. Besides, since I tend to prefer medium-sized toys, this one was an interesting find. There’s even more. Since the widest part has an oval shape, it felt much better than most regular smooth toys by the way it felt against the body when used horizontally. It would stretch sideways without pressing anything else, and the last time I experienced this, it was not with a toy. I also liked to set the flat side on my clitoris as I would apply some pressure, which would not affect the strength of the vibe. So, this is a good multipurpose toy that is sure to please somehow.

I got the Rabbit Frenzy by California Exotics at this sex shop I trust. It is a dual stimulation vibrator that works with a large bullet and a rabbit clitoral stimulator. The model I have is white, and I think it’s really cute, but it did not work for me the way I expected it to perform. The reason I wanted it was to know how a rabbit clitoral attachment would feel like, because I wanted to get a full-sized rabbit vibrator. I still do, but a rabbit clitoral attachment may not be the best for me, since I really like a strong stimulation even if it feels nice.

The vibrator has a single bullet with a phthalate-free and unscented TPR sleeve, which is 2 ½” long, with an insertable length of 1 ½” and a diameter of 1 ¼”. The rabbit part on the sleeve, from the tip of the ears to where it connects with the bullet, is 2 ½” and the ears alone are 1” long. The controller, with a 28” cord, is made of ABS plastic, and the control button and the back of the controller feel like they are coated with polyurethane, since they have a soft, velvet feel that prevents the controller to be too slippery if your fingers are slightly wet. However, please note that with the design of the vibrator, it would be hard to use a condom on this one and it cannot really be shared unless you are fluid-bonded with a partner.

The bullet is powered with three AAA batteries and has 5 modes of constant vibrations ranging from a mild buzz to an strong one. The sound level at the highest setting is comparable to a standard-sized bullet, and it could be heard through a door if the house was quiet. Thick bed covers would also muffle the volume as well. The controller is comfortable, and has only has two clicking buttons. Pressing any button and also releasing the button makes a fairly clear click sound and it can get a little distracting if you are playing around with the intensities. When you turn it on, there is also a red LED light that lights up on top of the controller. The toy comes in a completely recyclable plastic display package that can be used for storage. It comes with instructions in several languages, but I really did not need them, since everything is clearly indicated within the controller as you slide open the battery cap.

So far so good, but when you try to insert the bullet as much as possible, the bunny goes completely flat against your body. Without having looked, I know it must have looked like a cartoon bunny that ran into a wall and went arms-spread flat. Actually, in that position, I could see the ears reach up to my pubic mound, meaning that the tip of the ears was nowhere near my clitoris. Not only that, but if I would not hold it into place, the bullet would eventually slide out from the pressure that the rabbit applied against my body. This is why I was the most disappointed with this toy, and was afraid that I would not like it at all.

Fortunately, I played a little bit more and found out that the best ways to use this toy was anything else but its intended purpose. I separately used the rabbit to tease myself or the bullet to get an orgasm, and was really happy with the results and the possibilities. Even if there is no bullet in the bunny part, the vibrations travel really well within the TPR and the little ears feel really good. I really liked the rabbit ears with a low setting as a soft teasing and caressing stimulation, especially on the clitoris, on my labia, and the entrance of the vagina. I also tried it on the nipples or stuck my nipples between the ears, and this is where I preferred the rabbit on the higher settings.

I also enjoyed using it upside down, with the bullet on my clit and the ears tickling the entrance of my vagina. It may not seem like much, but those bunny ears must not be underestimated. This was also the first toy that I actually used to cool down after getting an orgasm, and kept using the rabbit part while gradually lowering the setting until it was off. I’m usually very sensitive after an orgasm, and the lower settings were gentle enough for me.If I was fluid-bonded with a boyfriend, I am sure it would also feel really nice for caressing the penis and the testicles.

All in all, it’s a really interesting toy that can stimulate you in many ways, as long as you are willing to explore the possibilities. I admit that I was disappointed at first that it would not work according to the design, but it was compensated in other ways. I recommend this Rabbit Frenzy for beginners, since it is actually a great toy to play around to see what you like, for instance low or strong vibrations combined with a clitoral teaser, a bullet or shallow penetration. I do not hide the fact that I had a lot of fun with it myself, so even people who have other great toys can still enjoy the Rabbit Frenzy.

Material

TPR stands for ‘Thermoplastic Rubber’ and TPE stands for ‘Thermoplastic Elastomer’, but when it comes to sex toys, their material is so similar that they are almost the same thing. The main difference is that TPE is less porous than TPR. The material is not always free of phthalates, but reading the description of the product, the package, or reviews should give you that information.

They are a light-weight material that has many interesting properties for a sex toy. It is hypoallergenic, latex-free and non-toxic. The material is soft, flexible and squishy, and it will follow slightly if you press your finger on the surface and move it around slightly. It is a strong material that resists well to tension and tearing, giving you a durable sex toy.

Care

Thermoplastic rubber or elastomer is somewhat porous, and while it can be washed with mild antibacterial soap and water or toy cleaner, TPR cannot be sanitized or disinfected. The use of a condom is recommended if you intend to share with a partner or if you want to try your toy anally.

TPR and TPE do not contain silicone and are compatible with water-based and silicone-based lubricants.

Remember to always wash your toys before and after each use, no matter what it is made of.

Storage
