Review of the Fun Factory G4 Elegance

I was really excited to see the new line of G4 vibrators from Fun Factory and until now I had never been disappointed by their product. I tried Elegance, a rechargeable and fully waterproof silicone vibrator, meaning a very high-end vibrator. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the Elegance_general model that I had to review due to the texture all over the surface (more information on that at the end).

At first I was really interested in the unusual shape of this toy. It looked amazing and deserved a fancy name like Elegance. It even has a kind of slightly twisted shape where a more pronounced edge is visible along the shaft. I know it’s hard to describe, but I got a few pictures to help. I also liked that the widest part of the toy would be on a horizontal axis, meaning that it would stretch the body from the sides and not vertically, like some g-spot toys would do.

Even though there is no apparent special texture on the vibrator, the silicone on the surface of this toy is so matte that it feels rough, almost like sandpaper when it is inserted and that minimal thrusting is initiated. I know some women like some drag, but this is pushing it to the extreme. I was surprised that it would feel like so, and even with extra lubricant, it could not be inserted with a smooth motion. The grain is so pronounced that you can clearly see it on the picture that I’ve taken of the tip. Also, if you want more information on silicone, like how to care for it and clean it, click here. Elegance_texture

Moreover, the fact that this vibe is larger than average does not help with experiencing an easy insertion, and with its 1 ¾” diameter (5 ½” circumference), it is actually at the limit of my comfort zone. So you can understand that with such a size, I would have needed a smoother surface in order to enjoy this toy. So I suppose that another woman who likes a lot of drag on large toys would be happy with this vibrator, but I wasn’t. The insertable section is of reasonable length with its 6 inches.

Also, while I was satisfied with the power of this toy, I did not offer the same variety in intensity that are available with Lelo toys of the same price range. I know that the Lelo products have yet to become waterproof, but they are amazing in being able to change the intensity of all the available patterns, which is unfortunately not the case with the G4 vibrators. I guess it depends on your preferences, and if you’d rather have a toy almost always set at the highest power for the vibration settings, here again, you would not be disappointed by the Elegance.

There are 3 control buttons on the Elegance, the Plus (+), the Minus (-) and the Asterisk (*), and they are lighted when you press them or if you move your hand over the controls when it is turned off. Pressing once on the Plus turns it on, and by pressing it again, you’ll go through six constant vibration intensities (that I could discern), going from low to a powerful high. You must go back through the settings to turn it off with Minus. At any moment when it is activated, you can press on the Asterisk to access the special vibration settings. You can also turn it on by holding the Asterisk button to access directly the vibrations options or off by holding the Minus button, from any setting. The noise volume is relatively low compared to other toys, and is more quiet than a bullet, even at the strongest setting.

The pulsation vibrations are:
1. Intense throbbing.
2. Quick pulses
3. Slower pulses that seem to escalate a little.
4. A less intense version of the slower pulses.

As I said before, this toy is rechargeable and the first charging can take up to 12 hours, that is, if the charger stays perfectly in place on the FUN logo to insure an ideal charging of the toy. The charger is included in the package, and as you can see it’s in the smaller box next to the main toy. During charging, Elegance was resting on a countertop and would sometimes move, which could shift the position of the charger as well. You can tell by the bright red light that appears on the charger. When the position isn’t optimal, the red light is dimmed or completely turned off. And it can take a while to Elegance_Packget a good position. Also, note that with this type of rechargeable battery, it is better regularly charged and should be stored fully charge to prolong its longevity.

So, in the end, I cannot say that I was satisfied by this product since I do not plan on using it vaginally anymore, and considering the other high-quality vibrators on the market lately, this one does not seem to be part of the real competition. I know most people do not have a few other $100 vibrators available to compare with, but trust me that when it comes to vibrations, Lelo is offering a lot more options on slimmer and smoother toys, even if they aren’t waterproof. So in the end, it all goes down to what you really want and will actually use on a toy. So if you decide it would work for you, then you can get it at this sex toy store I trust.

Note: After getting more information on this toy, whether or not it could have been defective, it was, but not for the reason I expected. The white velvet stuff was missing in a few spots, like the very tip of the toy, creating a few random softer spots. This means that the rough texture that I did not like WAS the normal texture. Fun Factory said that this texture had been created for people who like “SHORT and SLOW strokes”. Fine with me, but it was not something for me, since I could not even get the initial penetrations to feel smooth, not even with extra lubricant and after a first orgasm.

Review of the Fun Factory Patchy Paul

The Patchy Paul was a toy that had been tempting me for a long time, and I finally decided to IMG_1158give it a try. I thought that the bulge might not be comfortable and that the widening shaft would be too much, but I was wrong. In the end, I just couldn’t resist the cute little shape and the rich melon color.

I used this toy alone and with someone driving it, and I have no dissatisfaction for the shape at all. Actually, I was pleasantly surprised to see how good the nose of the toy felt, as if I was having my g-spot fingered nicely. The bumps along the shafts are the gentlest type of textures. They’re not particularly noticeable, but at least, you’re not getting a completely smooth toy. I can appreciate smooth toys, but I need to be in the mood.

As for the actual size of the toy, the shaft, that goes from a slim neck of 1 ½” to a wider 1 ¾” base, didn’t give the impression of being too large, but just right for a good penetration. Usually, I’d feel like 1 ¾” is on the large size for me, but considering that the toy has an insertion length of 6”, I didn’t really reach the widest diameter. As for the tip, it is slightly narrower than 1 ¼”, but since the back of the head to the very tip is 2” long, it can apply a substantial pressure to the g-spot.

The Patchy Paul is made of pure silicone, and if you want to know more about this material and how to care for it, click here. Note that the toy does not have a flared base and is not recommended for anal play, unless you only tease outside.

When it comes to the vibrations, I only wish that the toy would be stronger. I’m saying this only because I have other stronger toys, and if Patchy Paul was one of my first toys, I’d be over the moon. It’s still strong enough to do the job, don’t get me wrong, but a little bit of variety other than low to medium-high would have been nice.

There is a trick to opening the battery cap, and you have to press inside the tips of the parabolas on the side of the shaft. You will then hear a small click, and be able to insert the batteries. There is no specific order for inserting the batteries, and as long as the two AA batteries are opposed in polarity, the vibrator will work. To turn it on, you have to turn the dial base, on either side, to goIMG_1156 through the increasing intensity of the vibrations. The maximum intensity is reached after half a turn. After that, if you turn more to complete a full rotation, the vibration will gradually decrease to a full power off.

The vibrator is only splashproof, but it will still survive if some water enters the battery compartment. I had washed my toy in running water, and a lot of water got into it. So I had to keep the toy open and let it dry for a day to make sure there was no more water in it. The toy worked just fine afterwards, but I do try to be more careful with it.

You can also get this toy from sex toy store I trust, and a new upgraded version is also available at that site. It became available after I received this one for review, and I’m pretty sure the new one is amazing.

Review of the Fun Factory Smartballs

I’ve had the chance to have free Fun Factory Smartballs to review for Good Vibrations, and now I can say for sure that I do prefer the original Smartballs to the new Smartballs Teneo Duo version. Even if the Teneo has improvements made to them, the first one works better for me. I’m really happy with those, especially since mine came in that pretty vanilla and baby pink color. Quite honestly, I did not know this color was even available for the Smartballs, and I’m happily surprised.

Vaginal balls are made to strengthen the pelvic muscles as a Kegel exerciser. Strong pelFun Factory Smartballs Packagevic muscles help prevent incontinence, and increase sexual pleasure during sexual activity. The vaginal balls are especially recommended after having given birth to tighten the vaginal muscles. They are also used to learn to have a better control of the pelvic muscles so that you can learn to squeeze a male partner during sex. They are not recommended for anal use.

The Smartballs are made of elastomed, ABS plastic and silicone. All those materials are body safe, hypoallergenic, latex and phthalates free. It does not have a smell or taste, and it’s fairly non porous. What is made of ABS plastic is the smaller colored part that is covered with elastomed, which is the main colored part. Elastomed is a firm but flexible material, but since there is only a thin layer of that material over the ABS plastic, it’s quite firm. The only really flexible part in the Smartballs is between the two main balls. The retrieval cord, a nylon string coated with white silicone of 3 ½” long, is flexible as well, but it is not stretchable.

I have never given birth, and in my experience, when I put them in, I always have that impression that they are slightly too large for me. The insertable part including both balls is 4” long, and each ball has a diameter of 1 3/8”. But they fit just fine once I’ve moved around with them to get excited so that my vagina would expand to accommodate them. A good idea to accelerate that process is to have an orgasm right before putting them in. Not only will they fit right in, but you won’t need as much lubricant. Until then, the tip of the second ball tends to slip out, and it’s not the most comfortable sensation. The middle part needs some pressure to stay bended, and it’s what also makes the second tip slip out.

What makes the Smartballs special is that there is an inner set of balls inside the ABS casing. The inner balls move around when you stand, when you sit, when you are in a rocking chair, when you walk or exercise. Yes, I have brought those to the gym in the past. It’s so much fun. They are incredibly silent, and you would need to jump in order to hear a faint sound. In any normal conditions, no one will be able to hear them. What I like most about the Smartballs is how the vibrations feel inside when I apply a vibrator at the tip of the second ball. Since the second ball is set just on the G-spot, those vibrations really feel wonderful.

The intensity of the vibrations felt from the inner balls vary from mild to moderate, depending on the activity or if you are boosting the vibrations with a vibrator. If used for daily activities, it is not distracting, but you unless you sit without moving, you can’t forget them. Most of the time, they bring a subtle sensation that feels like a caress, and will be felt just so to put a smile on your face, and boost your happiness level. It’s a great way to make sure you will be the mood for a special evening or night with your special someone.
Fun Factory Smartballs Original

Since the retrieval cord has silicone on it, you should never, ever use silicone-based lubricant with the Smartballs, especially not the silicone-based sample that is provided with them in the original package along with the instructions. The Smartballs can be washed with mild soap and water or a toy cleaner.

Review of the Fun Factory Wanda

I obtained the Fun Factory Wanda at this great sex shop. It is a silicone dildo, but it’s quite different from conventional strap-on silicone dildos. It’s an oddly-shaped dildo and to be frank, I always leaned toward other dildos when I had to make a purchase. This was such a mistake.

The Wanda is first and foremost designed for anal play. It looks like a little worm, and it’s obviously non-realistic and non-threatening. Fun Factory Wanda, PackageIt’s cute and the first thought that crossed my mind after getting it out of the box was that it looked fun. The shape is gradual from a smaller tip of a width of ¾” and alternates between shaft sections and bumps to reach the last and largest bump that has a diameter of 1 ½”. The insertable length is 5 1/2”.

The toy is velvety, and has some squishy give to it, just like most Fun Factory dildos. It is made of pure silicone, a great material that does not contain phthalates or latex. It’s actually hypoallergenic and completely body safe, since it’s non-porous. Silicone can also react to other grades of silicone toys, so keep them separate and do not use a silicone-based lubricant.

Silicone is easy to care for, a toy cleaner can be used to wash it, but I generally use a mild antibacterial hand soap. Silicone can be sanitized by being boiled as well as soaked or wiped with a 10% bleach solution. If you intend to share, you can use a condom over the toy as well. Some dishwashers also have the ability to sanitize silicone when washed on the top rack with no soap. Normally, silicone does not really have a smell, just a very faint silicone-smell, but it will retain a smell for a little while or days after being used anally, even if it was washed. I do not usually mind the smell, since the toy is still clean.

This silicone dildo attracts lint easily and should ideally be stored in a plastic bag or lint-free cloth bag. I have had a silicone toy in contact with a heavily tinted velvet cloth and the silicone was permanently stained. Fortunately, this was a lesser priced bullet sleeve, but my advice is that if the cloth leaks when it’s wet, don’t let it touch your toys. The dildo comes in a box with a plastic display and basic instructions, along with a lube sample.

It has a large concave base with three lobes, which makes it safe for anal play. It’s always a good thing when it’s the actual intended use of a sex toy, right? The base makes a great handle during play, especially when the base or your fingers are wet with lube. The concave part also works as a suction cup, and works best when it’s really wet before being pressed on a flat surface. It’s great for showers and baths.

The surface of the bumps is also smoother than the body of the dildo, making the bumps easier to slide in. It’s hard to tell the difference in texture at first, and I had not even noticed from the Fun Factory Wanda, Green

website’s pictures. I only saw that characteristic when I was holding it in my hands, and I could see that the bumps were shinier than the shaft. I could hardly feel the difference with my fingertips, but the tip of my tongue –and ass– confirmed the smoother texture. This is great for people less experienced in anal play to progress along the dildo’s shaft. I have discovered that I prefer less-pronounced textures when I’m playing anally, and the smooth bumps slide in without effort.

When I inserted this toy the first time, I did not play with any other anal toys, since I wanted to feel how I would warm up to the last bump. With the sample of the water-based Fun Factory Toyfluid that was provided with this toy, I started to insert the tip and quickly got past the second bump. The first bump is barely smaller than the shaft before the third bump, and since the bumps are quite smooth, they don’t present any challenge, just sensations.

After the initial insertion where I got past the second bump, I pushed a little more to get the third bump in, but I felt a slight poke. I was surprised, since I had tried longer toys than that with no issue. It has to do with the shape, and started to turn the toy in order to find a path to get it all in. I really had the impression that I had a rotating handle within me and I could feel it very well. I think it was felt particularly well because the tip is angled particularly outwards when that part of the shaft is perpendicular with the sphincter. I best preferred rotating the dildo past the second bump as I was trying to get the last bump in. When it is rotated past the third bump, you can still feel the rotation, but it’s gentler, since the most outward part becomes the second bump. Just that really makes this toy unique, but I’ve only just begun.

As I turned the toy to get the last bump in, I would gently push it inside to test waters. Most of the time, I could feel it being pushed back out by my body, until it was finally accepted by my body. It felt sucked in, and was held very firmly into place. And then, the truth about this toy dawned on me. The oddly-shaped shaft was not just randomly whimsical; it was completely brilliant and ingenious. As soon as it was in, the only thing I could feel was the last bump and the feeling of my sphincter being stretched. Nothing else.

Having this toy completely inserted is an amazing sensation, and I was completely caught by surprised. It was like my body no longer recognized the dildo as a foreign object and it became a part of me, almost symbiotically. This is what completely blew my mind, and it was orgasmic. I do not know for sure if it was an orgasm, but I had full-body spasms very similar to those I get from a strong orgasm. The dildo was held so firmly into place that I could walk around the apartment with it and it did not slide out at all, even if there was a lot of extra lubricant. The tip of the toy does not always point in the same direction for a perfect fit, and trial and error is required every time you want to get it all in.

After being inserted completely, I was able to warm up to it even more and make it possible to thrust with the entire length. If you have a partner controlling the Wanda with their hands or with an harness, I do not suggest to get the third bump in, unless you have been previously warmed up with another anal toy. Like I said, it needs some turning to get it all in, and it may not always be possible to get it in just by regular thrusting.

Unlike what I expected, this is not just for beginners who want to start with a smaller girth and work their way to a medium-sized diameter. It’s quite different from any other toy I have tried, since the Fun Factory Wanda is not just about thrusting, it’s also meant to be turned, rotated or screwed into you. This is where the odd angles of the shaft make this toy shine.

Enjoy!

Review of the Smartballs Teneo Duo

The Babeland Silicone Double Smartballs are just another name for the Fun Factory Smartballs Teneo Duo. The vaginal balls are used for strengthening the vaginal muscles, especially after giving birth or to gain back some control over your muscle if you have some incontinence issues. They are particularly great for adding a not-so-little twist to regular and sexual activities. They are not made for anal use though.

They come with a regular Fun Factory thin cardboard package, with a plastic display in front and a magnetic flap in the back. It comes with instructions, a Fun Factory product sheet and a sample of the Fun Factory Toyfluid lubricant. The packaging is completely recyclable.

The Smartballs are essentially made from silicone, but the oblong coloring is made of ABS plastic. Without the cord, the balls measure 3.75” long and have a diameter of 1.5”. You will need some water-based lubricant to insert the balls, since the silicone has some drag to it. Try applying a minimum amount of lube required for putting them in, since the extra lubrication may make it difficult to keep them in.

However, the Teneo Duo requires a lot more lubricant than the original Smartballs, and it may feel painful to insert when there is not enough lube. That’s something that was not present in the original model. I think it’s due to the extra wrap of silicone around the balls. Although, if for me, that new feature does not work, I think it can be especially useful for women who have given birth. The wrap of silicone adds to the friction of the balls and makes it easier to keep inside.

There are smaller balls inside the Smartballs that roll around during any movements and the created vibrations are very fun. The balls are extremely silent, and the only way that you could hear them slightly is when you jump up and down. Use them for cleaning the house, while you are taking a walk, walking the dog, or even at work or for an evening out in town or at a restaurant. Just use your imagination.

Placing a vibrator at the end of the Teneo Duo to get better vibrations inside don’t work as well as with the original model. With the hollow base, my skin can sometimes get between the ball and the vibration, giving me a slight pinch. Once settled comfortable, it’s really pleasurable, and everyone has to try this at least once.

I have the Original Smartballs by Fun Factory and I can appreciate the upgrades that were applied on the Teneo Duo. The silicone allows your muscles to have a better grip on the toy. The middle part keeping the balls together is also suppler than it was and you no longer have the impression that your muscles are fighting against the tension, actually it adds no resistance at all. The hollow base where the cord is attached makes it easier for you to push it inside and it also removed the uncomfortable poke-effect that was present in the older model when it was first inserted.

The retrieval cord is completely made of silicone, instead of being a nylon cord covered with a thin layer of silicone, and I did not feel it at all. It is quite stretchable, and at first I was afraid that it would break by pulling it out. It did not, but I’m still pulling slowly.

Silicone is a wonderful material, since it is hypoallergenic, non-porous and has no smell. It also makes the Smartballs easy to care for; you only need to wash it with soap and water before and after each use.

All in all, Fun Factory really did a good job with this product and if you are afraid that the Double Smartballs may be too large for you, try the Single Smartballs. Even if there is only one ball, the sensations are felt as well. Whichever size you choose, you will definitely not regret your purchase. They will make your day so much better and put you in the mood for solo or partner play later in the day. They will also make you feel especially sexy and naughty as well as make you more attuned with your own body.

You can get the Smartballs at this great sex toy store.

Review of the Fun Factory Scrudy

I bought the Fun Factory Scrudy a few months ago when I wanted to renew what was in my toy box. I had a few toys like the Layaspot, the Dinky Digger, Smartballs and a some silicone toy.

The Scrudy is a non-realistic silicone dildo with no vibration properties. It has a rounded tip, which acts as the first g-spot bump, and it is a little more pronounced than the other two down the shaft. I personally feel all three pretty well and I like them equally. Actually, I take that back, there may be three g-spot bumps, but I forgot to count the other sides of the slanted sections, which gives the impression of a spiral. The slanted bumps actually makes the whole dildo wiggle somehow with the thrusts and increases your pleasure.

The girth of the Scrudy varies slightly from the tip to the base, but it is a little larger than one inch in diameter, 1 3/8”. It is not particularly large in terms of width or girth, but I think it helps you feel nicely the bumps better. The actual size allows more freedom of movement and faster and rougher thrusts without being afraid to hurt yourself. For that reason, I do not think a larger size would have been necessarily more pleasurable, since the stimulation seems to come from its ability to move against and inside you.

Since it is made of 100% medical-grade silicone, the toy feels really soft against the skin and slides easily inside the body as long as there is enough lubrication. The only recommended type of lube for a silicone sex toy is a water-based one. Silicone is known to react to other types of silicone and I would not risk damaging the surface of my toys by using a silicone-based lubricant. You do not even have to worry about losing your grip on your toy, since the rounded triangular-shaped base is very useful when everything is covered with lube.

The surface of the dildo is slightly velvety or matte like most Fun Factory silicone toys and will also attract a bit of lint when it is dry and stored. Make sure you wash it before and after each use, with soap and water or a toy cleaner, and to store it in a storage bag that will keep the surface of the toy clean, like satin. If you have more than one silicone toy, the storage bag will also protect your silicone toys from reacting to one another. The silicone is also firm and it will bend if you apply pressure on it, and will give reluctantly against your g-spot to leave an incredible sensation behind. If you wrap your hand around the shaft to squish it, the toy will adapt to the pressure but immediately return to its initial shape.

The harness-compatible base of the dildo has a hollow area that works similarly to a suction cup. It is a little hard to make it stick to flat surfaces, since the base is not exactly flat all around. You need a minimum of pressure to really make it hold to a perfectly flat surface. It helps to wet the base and remove as much air as possible, but depending on the angle of penetration, it may not stick all that long.

The Fun Factory Scrudy can be used safely for anal penetration and stimulation, since it has a very large base. There is no rough edges anywhere on the shaft or base and the dildo feels good at all times. Anywhere. It is not only safe, but extremely pleasurable. This sex toy is highly satisfying as an anal dildo as much –if not more– than a vaginal toy. The tip is slightly smaller than the rest of the shaft and can be compared to the size of the tip of the Fun Factory Bootie, which is often recommended as an anal beginner’s butt plug. However, it is very important not to use the toy vaginally after using it anally without prior throughout wash or sterilization.

To sterilize your toy after anal play, or when sharing your toy for that matter, wash it with a 10% bleach solution, boil it for 3 minutes or place it in the top rack of the dishwasher. You also have the choice to cover the toy with a condom if you do not want to go through the trouble of washing your toy in the middle of your sexual activities.

Enjoy!

Review of the Fun Factory Dinky Digger

The Fun Factory Dinky Digger was bought during my first purchase of sex toys a few years ago. I did not know much about sex toys at the time or about all the things you should consider when buying one, like size, material, and functionality. I was rather lucky that I got that high-quality toy, but my decision had been mostly influenced by the really, adorable mole, squinting from the brightness of the, and coming out of the ground to offer me a flower. It also deserves a cuteness bonus for the tiny belly button.

Since I had browsed the store inventory on a website, I knew the Dinky Digger was a g-spot vibrator. I thought it was an interesting feature and I was curious about that. So when I got home, I took it out of its packaging, which was a box with a front plastic display. It came with a small instruction booklet, a sample of the water-base lubricant Toy Fluid from Fun Factory and another booklet showing other Fun Factory products, which made me drool with envy.

The only suggestion that I was given during the purchase was to get a lubricant and a sex toy cleaner. So I dud buy those items, but the purpose of the guidance was more about selling more products than really give any helpful advice. The toy cleaner may have been useful for the Doc Johnson jelly toy bought with this one but I was not told that soap and water could be used to wash my new silicone toy as well. I learned eventually that the vibrator could also be sterilized with a 10% bleach solution and that a condom could be used if the toy was shared. Even if the toy is made of silicone, I would not recommend boiling it or putting it in the dishwasher. With the small notches in the textures, I also prefer washing it with soap under running water than with a toy cleaner.

The toy is splash proof, but not completely waterproof. If you play in water with it, verify if some water entered the battery compartment. If it did, shake it upside down to remove most of it and let it dry without the cover. The toy will still work even if some water entered, but I do not think it is a good idea to close the cap if there is still water in it. When I selected my lubricant, I picked the least expensive one, which was a bottle of Astroglide water-based lubricant. However, I really did not know that water-based lube was actually what was recommended for any silicone sex toy, since a silicone-based lubricant could permanently damage the surface of my toy.

The silicone felt really nice, it has a soft, velvety feel and it was quite firm. The body of the vibrator does not bend much, because the vibrating mechanism and the battery compartment are almost on top of each another inside the silicone. The only part where there is some give to the silicone is in the nose of the Dinky Digger. As I was looking at it on top of my bed, I had to remove some lint and a dog hair from it. I figured it would be a regular characteristic of silicone. It did not seem that much of an inconvenience to me, since I was told to wash my sex toys before and after each use.

Now that I had carefully examined my new possession, the next step was to… try to get the battery case open. At the base of the vibrator, there is a grey part with two round areas, one on each side, that are used to release the battery cap. Seriously, either I was weak as a newborn kitten or that case had a major issue of being tightly shut. Somehow after struggling a few minutes with the case, I managed to get it open, put the 2 AA batteries in, which were not included with the vibrator, and shut the battery case. There is no defined side to put the batteries in, and as long as the two batteries are reversed from each other, the vibrator will work. After shutting the case, I just hoped that I would still be able to open it again after use so that I could remove the batteries, which must not be left inside the toy between uses. This prevents the batteries from degrading or leaking inside the toy and breaking the vibrating mechanism.

The round dial control of the vibrator is located on the black cap of the battery case, which is diagonal so that it is facing up during use. The dial is used to turn it on and off, and to turn up and down the vibration intensity. Even if the cap is made of hard plastic, the dial has an embossed water-splash design made from silicone. The orientation and the texture make it really easy to control the dial with wet fingers. It also fits nicely within the palm of the hand and I can easily create my own vibration patterns with a twist of the wrist.

Armed with the Dinky Digger and my new water-based lubricant, I was ready for some product testing. Even at the lowest setting, the tip of the nose would blur from the vibration; it was promising. The curved nose of the mole is the part where the vibrations are the most concentrated. At the time, I was able to reach an orgasm from the lowest vibration setting, and I was thrilled at the potential. This toy felt great to tease other erogenous zones.

The different types of textures on this toy make it special and unlike other vibrators. The upper part of the mole is quite smooth, but at the base of the mole, there is a lot of small uneven nubs representing the moved earth. The flower is made from well-defined nubs and the paw holding it has long claws that add a small ribbed sensation. So depending on what you want to experience, you have some variety.

I took me a while to be able to insert it vaginally, but with time, I was able to use all of the insertable length and even feel the bumps of the small flower, but I never had a g-spot orgasm from it. But I am still quite satisfied with it, especially since I figured out the secret of opening the battery cover easily.

Review of the Fun Factory Whirly

I like my sex toys to be colorful and fun and I really do think of them as toys. I’m fond of playful non-realistic dildos, especially those made from Fun Factory. Once I saw the Fun Factory Whirly, I knew I had to have it. It was love at first sight.

The Whirly is an adorable smiling dolphin made from pure silicone Fun Factory Whirlythat can bring you to heaven depending on where you use it. I have used it both vaginally and anally, and the difference in the experience and feelings is quite steep. This for me is a very, very pleasurable anal dildo. This non-vibrating dildo can technically be used vaginally as well, but just be careful if you feel the tip poking in an uncomfortable way.

The first time I tried this toy, I tried it vaginally and I was not impressed, it felt like any other of my regular dildos. I also tried to make the dolphin’s head hit my g-spot, but alas… the pointed tip would not be comfortable. Thrusting this dolphin in my vagina was not pleasurable. And if I placed the Whirly upside down, the flippers would get in the way when I would put it in. If I want g-spot stimulation, I will rather use another type of dildo, like the Fun Factory Scrudy, which works wonders on that area.

However, when it comes to anal play, I get so much pleasure from this dildo that it’s hard to believe I’m not having more fun elsewhere. With this toy, I am always able to completely relax and enjoy it. The base is large enough to make the toy completely safe and worry-free for anal play. This toy gives me wonderful heat waves as soon as it is inserted, but unfortunately for me, I am not able to reach climax on my own. Otherwise, I would be having amazing anal orgasms with this toy if someone else was controlling the dildo. If I had larger anal toys to use, the Whirly would be perfect to get prepared for them.

I have also used this dildo like a large butt plug when I would just sit in front of the computer. Applying and releasing pressure while sitting on this toy feels really nice. The wide base gives it a nice bouncy effect. I can walk around with it and it does not slide out, but I did never go really far in my apartment.

What really makes this toy stand out is the slender and pointed nose tip that allows for easy entry. It slowly helps your body adapt to the larger part of the dolphin. I have enjoyed the Fun Factory Bootie for a little while and still do, but I was curious to try something a little larger, that is, without struggling with a medium-sized insertable tip. This gradual progression from a small tip to a medium size body is great for the anal beginners out there who want to casually take it to the next step.

It also has a sort of suction cup made from the concave area beneath the base, but it really needs to be quite wet to stick to a shower wall and stand some tension, but not that much. The first few times, it would fall off the wallFun Factory Whirly Base after one of two thrusts. It helps to fill the base with water and stick it to the shower wall quickly. You can also try to lift one of the base’s rounded tips to let some of the air escape while pushing it to the wall to increase its suction power. It’s really a nice feature on a toy that looks like a dolphin. Makes water play even more playful.

Silicone lubricants are not recommended for silicone toys. Use a high quality water-based lube with your silicone toys; this toy has a mated texture and you need to be well lubricated to insert it without too much friction. Besides, there is no such thing as too much lube when it comes to anal play. The base of the toy has three lobes and makes it very easy to get a good grip when the toy or your hands are wet. The toy comes with a sample of the water-based lube Fun Factory Toyfluid, which is a really good lubricant.

I love the firmness and texture of high-quality silicone, it’s highly pleasurable. The only inconvenience to silicone toys is that they tend to attract static and fabric particles or some small hair when they are dry. But since you must wash them before and after each use, the static goes away before you use it. I also store each silicone toy in a satin pouch within my toy box and with minimal care they can last a lifetime. I choose my toys carefully knowing very well that I will have them for as long as I still like them and more.

Silicone does not have a smell and since it is non-porous, it is not a good ground for bacteria. You can wash it with soap and water and even with a toy cleaner. If you intend to share this toy, you have the option to use a condom over it or you can sterilize it by washing it in a 10% bleach solution, boiling it in water for about 3 minutes, and washing it in the top rack of the dishwasher.
