If you are into anal toys, you’ve probably noticed the Nexus G-Rider, whether you have a prostate or not, as it has a very interesting shape and an alluring base. The best bases for anal toys are sadly hard to find, and I’m glad I had the chance to try the Nexus G-Rider, by LB Trading Ltd, for it has a really good one.

Presentation

This prostate massager is especially firm in density and it’s a good thing that the curved tip, or nose, helps with inserting it. With or without the motor, the silicone on this toy is particularly firm and will only have more give at the neck without it. Once inside, the Nexus just seems to be swallowed by the body up to the neck, at least for anal play, and the firmness presents no disadvantages.

The silicone is velvety all around the toy, except for the line when a seam would be. It looks like the seam was mechanically removed and left a sort of micro texture that does not feel so soft on the fingers, but that you can’t really feel during use. However, it makes cleaning more difficult as well.

I had some trouble getting the battery inside at first, as there was some sort of glued tape holding two wires that had rolled and was getting in the way of the battery. I assume it was an isolated incident as no one else mentions something of the sort, but after removing it with tweezers and making sure the wires weren’t in the way, everything worked just fine.

This vibrator can easily be used as a regular butt plug after you have removed the motor, and even if you keep it in.

Size

The toy is what I’d call average in size, because at the widest part, it has a circumference of a little bit more than 5 inches. The head, from tip to back, has a length of 1.75”, but is quite slender being slightly less than an inch in width. The whole toy is 5” and is insertable for 4”. The base is fairly long, with 4.5”.

Vibrations

There are five vibration settings that are all of moderate intensity but that are well felt during anal play. The first one is rather unique, and starts as a quick escalating and deescalating pattern followed by a series of continuous faster pulses. The second is a two- to three-second-long constant vibration followed by a second-long pause. The third one is the constant vibration mode. The fourth one is single pulses interrupted by pauses. The last one is a series of three throbbing pulses followed by a pause. To turn it on and off, the button has to be held for about two seconds.

Female Opinion

I could not feel the vibrations vaginally as well as I did when it was inserted anally. Although the Rider did a superb job at finding my g-spot, I found the material to be slightly too firm for that use. I much preferred the sensation it offered for anal play, and it did feel amazing. It’s hard to say what made it such a great toy for me, as it didn’t seem to be filling me up or stretch me, but my body did sense it and took great pleasure from that shape and vibrations.

For either use, I was not stimulated by the nubs at the base or feel the vibrations through them. I did feel them against my clitoral area during vaginal insertion, but just because they rested against my skin. As for anal play, I could not even feel them.

I would have like to ride the Rider a little in a rocking movement, but as my butt cheeks are very cushiony, it didn’t work all that well. I could not achieve anything better than movements that would poke me. I was curious to know if I could change the vibrations with a rocking motion, so I can’t really say if it could work.

With the size of the base, vaginal penetration would not be possible at the same time, in case you’d like to try.

Yes, I did ask for a guy opinion for this one, and I actually felt like I had no choice for reviewing a toy made for prostate massaging.

With the Nexus G-Rider, the orgasm that ensues is supposedly amazing and powerful. The firmness was just right and the shape and size was apparently perfect. The size didn’t feel too large for one who plays at an intermediate level in anal toys. However, larger than that would have been too much with the firmness of the toy. This toy has definitely become an instant favorite.

The vibrations were very interesting, especially the escalating one, which is a vibration pattern that is not that often available on vibrators. The nubs were not particularly felt during insertion either, but the base was extremely comfortable as the sides are round and don’t dig into the skin at all. This toy makes it easy to sit computer chair for a long period of time without being uncomfortable.

Care

While the silicone is easy to care for, and you can find information about it here, the motor is not waterproof. So you will have to turn the toy upside down for washing or remove the motor entirely. At least it was be easily removed and put back in with some twisting.

The Diamond Massager is a cute and small vibrator used for external stimulation or shallow penetration. It’s quite powerful, and gives the impression of being a giant bullet, with the advantage of being able to apply that power in more than a tiny area.

The shape, especially the narrow parts, makes holding the toy comfortable, and it’s something that I really like with toys, not feeling cramped in trying to use a toy. The widest part is slightly over an inch in diameter, so it’s definitely not large if it’s going to be used for minimal penetration.

The toy is made of PU-coated plastic, which gives a nice velvety feel, and the crystals are made of glass. If you want to know more about plastic and care, click here.

The Diamond Massager is also waterproof, as long as it’s not taken for a deep swim (think pressure). Especially since this toy does not float, it should not be left at the bottom of the water. I left mine a few seconds at the bottom of the sink for a few seconds, and no water got into it, but I would not leave it soaking in the bath for minutes.

There are two arrows printed on the sides of the battery cap showing where the arrows have to be aligned in order to open it, but their usefulness is more than that. You need to align the arrows to close it or somehow the cap won’t be in that specific position to correctly make the contact with the batteries. If I were to close it the other way, I’d have to change the polarity of the two AAA batteries, which are not included.

There are three vibration patterns, one that is constant, the next one is a quick constant pulsing, and the last one is also like a series of pulses but slightly more pronounced, and where every fifth pulse is longer and followed by a tiny pause. Depending on how long you keep the toy turned on, your fingers may feel a little numbed after a while, but I managed to reach a second orgasm before it occurred.

The shape and design of the toy could make it a great first toy, as long as the power is taken into consideration. It’s not everyone that can handle that power when first introduced to toys. For others, it’s the best bullet you may have.

When you get the Eroscillator 2 Top Deluxe, every part is wrapped or sealed in plastic (especially the handle), which also affect the type of refunds you can get. It comes in a cardboard box, but once the items have been unwrapped, it becomes hard to put it all back in there, so be ready to spare some other space for it. With no attachment the Eroscillator is 8” long, and is 2” wide at the base. The adapter comes with a full 13’ of cord and you shouldn’t worry about the distance between an outlet and your bed (I hope). And then, there are the five attachments that will be described below.

The Handle
The handle is surprisingly comfortable in any position and you shouldn’t have to stretch a muscle from holding it for a little while. The spirals along the 1 ½” handle of the toy help give a better grip when it comes to changing intensities, which can be done be slipping a panel on the side of the toy. The Eroscillator itself is made of plastic, as well as the necks of the attachments, and you can give it a more thorough wash by removing the cap and the slider. The handle can be washed under running water and is waterproof, but the Eroscillator should not be used where there is water for the electrical parts. 

It has three settings, one low that already feels strong, and two more that feel stronger and the last is even stronger. As for the noise level, it is low pitched and feels was amazingly low in volume for the power given, maybe slightly more than a vibrating cellphone. On the lowest setting, you can barely hear it. The toy will be louder if there is no attachment or if no pressure (minimal) is applied on the attachment.

The Attachments
The rest of the attachments are made of a flexible silicone-coated TPR, which is a hypoallergenic material that contains no latex, PVC or phthalates, but it is not completely non-porous (so consider a condom is you want to try an attachment anally). You will be able to clean them with warm water and soap, and if you must use lubricant, stay with water-based. Most attachments are roughly 3” in length and make it possible to easily access the clitoris during penetrative sex. The five attachments included are (from left to right on the picture):

1. The French Legionnaire’s Moustache
This one is definitely the oddest and at first I really believed it would hurt. For this reason, it was the very last attachment I tried and after removing the plastic protector, I realized that the nylon bristles were quite soft and they could be used to tease and tickle. The instructions say that it could be used internally as well, but I’d rather not – I would not want stuff to get in the roots of the bristles. I’m thinking that it might be an attachment that would feel good on the scrotum and the shaft of the penis.

2. The Golden Spoon
The hollow of the golden spoon is nice if you do not like direct stimulation on the clitoris, but I preferred the back that would cover the entire clitoral area. It is actually the attachment that I liked best.

3. The Cup & Ball
The Cup could also be used for even more indirect contact with the clitoris and for nipple stimulation. The Ball is similar to the back of the Spoon, but has a smaller surface to play with. The Cup & Ball could be interchanged with the Golden Spoon and the differences would be minor ones as they’re very similar when oscillating.

4. The Seven Pearls of the Orient
The Pearls are meant for internal stimulation (vaginal or anal), but I also liked to place it along my clitoris and put the smaller bead at the entrance of the vagina. For this one in particular, use a condom for anal play unless you never intend to stimulate other areas.

5. The Grapes and Cockscomb
This side I prefer is the Grapes as you can use on the clitoris and internally to reach the g-spot, and with the power it comes with, you should be able to be very stimulated as well. The Cockscomb is just odd, and I didn’t find any particular use I preferred. The instructions mention labia stimulation, but I wasn’t impressed.

Other Accessories
As you can see on the picture, there is a plastic bag or pouch included for storage, but it’s cheap and makes me go “meh”. It does not even close and even if you put the bag in a drawer, it might fall on the side and the pieces could slide out. I recommend using a satin wine bag if you can get your hands on one, you can often buy those during Christmas time and they serve as oversized drawstring bags.

As for the DVD, it contains customer opinions and a sort of endorsement interview with Dr. Ruth. The whole thing lasts about 10 minutes and acts as an advertisement for the product as it keeps on promoting its virtues and its advantages on a couple’s sex life (that part could apply to any sex toy though). They probably considered that a number of people, men and women, who receive this product as a gift and are unfamiliar or reticent to using sex toys, might need positive arguments in order for them to keep the Eroscillator.

The DVD, the bag and the burgundy box were contained in a larger plain cardboard box that protected everything well during shipping, but I didn’t think it would be useful to take a picture.

My Opinion
The toy is amazing, as I was able to reach 5 orgasms in a single session without feeling numb, and the only reason I didn’t continue is that I was myself tired – I knew the toy would keep on giving me orgasms easily. This toy will get you there, and if it does not, there is a 30-day return policy (not a complete refund though) with the maker.

However, as I will be using some attachment parts less frequently than others, I think that the  Eroscillator should better be sold alone with a basic attachment, like the Golden Spoon, so that anyone could buy all the attachments that they want when they want. Having more options would make the initial price a lot more affordable, because a starting price of $139, and higher depending on the kit, is too much for a lot of people. But then, it is good to note that the Eroscillator 2 Top Deluxe is more powerful than the Eroscillator 2 Plus (by 35% I heard), and is the “cheapest” available kit to get that extra power, so it’s hard to say what’s the value of the extra power in relation to the attachments.

The Nubby Softee, part of the Basics Essentials collection and designed by Cal Exotics, well deserves its name: it has nubs, it’s soft and bendy in the middle of the shaft, and from its design, I could expect it was made for shallow penetration. All right, I know it’s more information than what the name could give, but it’s still true.

When I look at it, I keep thinking that it looks like a candy pink space rocket. It’s not like I can help it by the way it has a thinner tip and how the nubs are placed. You can see the three rows of circular nubs starting at the very tip, which varies between 1” and 1 ¼” in diameter, and there is another row of oval nubs before the first wrapped bump around the shaft. After the bumps, the shaft widens to reach a good 1 ¾” in diameter, but you’d have to be really motivated to get that part in.

The shaft of the Nubby Softee is made of TPE and the base is made of ABS plastic, and they are two very good materials for sex toys as they are not very porous and have no smell or taste. The toy has a wide soft seal around the battery cap, which makes it waterproof – yup, tried, tested, soaked and it even floats. At the tip of the Nubby, we can see the motor of the toy, and this is why the vibrations are the strongest at that location. Between the motor and the battery compartment, the shaft can bend from pressure, but it won’t stay in a bended position. That feature becomes interesting if you do not like to have a lot of pressure applied on the clitoris if someone else is using the toy on you, which also prevents thrusts that could be painful.

The vibrator is turned on my turning a dial at the base clockwise, and you’ll go through  escalating levels of vibrations, going from medium low to a fairly high intensity (scale written on the dial). The dial has some resistance for turning, and I had to grip it with two fingers. And unlike what’s written on the packaging, it’s not whisper quiet. On the highest setting, it’s got a loud buzz noise and even the dial makes some type of metal grating sound – but I had not noticed the first times I tried it… could be new. It is powered by 2 AA batteries, but they are not included.

All in all, this vibrator has interesting features, and is particularly powerful. I could feel the nubs really well and, during penetration, I could not really feel the bumps when I would reach the middle part, except that it felt like a natural stop, as if I could not go deeper. This is a toy that is reasonably priced ($16) and is worth it if the features are what you are looking for.

The Love Bunny is probably the cutest rabbit-related toy I have ever seen. I got a secret thing for bunnies and this was something I wanted to try as soon as I saw it. When receiving the item, the first thing that I could notice and appreciate is that the company really didn’t take the product seriously and designed the box and the info with humor (see picture below). Then, there was the bunny itself, which is completely non-intimidating as it looks like a cartoon bunny, from the nose to the tail (tip of the bullet).

With a sleeve made of pure silicone, the Love Bunny is relatively firm, even its ears, and feels like soft velvet all around. When it is turned on, the ears do not appear to be vibrating much, but they do and can easily tease and stimulate erogenous zones, like the nipples, the outer and the inner labia, the entrance of the vagina as well as the clitoris. Actually, the feeling of the vibrating ears is so nice, that I tend to explore more areas than I usually do. It would not be strong enough for me to reach an orgasm, but I love to include it in foreplay sessions.

The splash-proof bullet is made of plastic with a velvety-coating and it could be used alone, but I do not really how small bullets are and they’re not that comfortable to hold. However, with the bunny, the added size makes it much more fun to hold on a less-slippery surface. From the tip of the nose to the button of the bullet, there is a full 3” in length. The ears alone are 1 ¼” and they are definitely the most interesting feature of the Love Bunny, as the firmness allows some pressure to be exerted, at least more than it would be possible with a very soft material.

The bullet, powered with three watch batteries (included), has one high vibration setting and the vibrations travel quite well though the silicone; the bullet barely feels stronger when it is used without the bunny. If you want a little bit more diversity, you could combine this Love Bunny with the Jimmyjane Iconic Bullet, which has three vibration settings, and you would end up with a cute little white-tailed bunny with the same high intensity and two more slightly lower options. I also noticed that the socket is sufficiently sized for the bullet that it’s not necessary to add a drop of lube for easy removal. All you have to do is wiggle it out gently. I didn’t use any lubricants with my Love Bunny, but if you need some, use water-based ones only.

I was really excited to see the new line of G4 vibrators from Fun Factory and until now I had never been disappointed by their product. I tried Elegance, a rechargeable and fully waterproof silicone vibrator, meaning a very high-end vibrator. Unfortunately, I was disappointed by the model that I had to review due to the texture all over the surface (more information on that at the end).

At first I was really interested in the unusual shape of this toy. It looked amazing and deserved a fancy name like Elegance. It even has a kind of slightly twisted shape where a more pronounced edge is visible along the shaft. I know it’s hard to describe, but I got a few pictures to help. I also liked that the widest part of the toy would be on a horizontal axis, meaning that it would stretch the body from the sides and not vertically, like some g-spot toys would do.

Even though there is no apparent special texture on the vibrator, the silicone on the surface of this toy is so matte that it feels rough, almost like sandpaper when it is inserted and that minimal thrusting is initiated. I know some women like some drag, but this is pushing it to the extreme. I was surprised that it would feel like so, and even with extra lubricant, it could not be inserted with a smooth motion. The grain is so pronounced that you can clearly see it on the picture that I’ve taken of the tip. Also, if you want more information on silicone, like how to care for it and clean it, click here.

Moreover, the fact that this vibe is larger than average does not help with experiencing an easy insertion, and with its 1 ¾” diameter (5 ½” circumference), it is actually at the limit of my comfort zone. So you can understand that with such a size, I would have needed a smoother surface in order to enjoy this toy. So I suppose that another woman who likes a lot of drag on large toys would be happy with this vibrator, but I wasn’t. The insertable section is of reasonable length with its 6 inches.

Also, while I was satisfied with the power of this toy, I did not offer the same variety in intensity that are available with Lelo toys of the same price range. I know that the Lelo products have yet to become waterproof, but they are amazing in being able to change the intensity of all the available patterns, which is unfortunately not the case with the G4 vibrators. I guess it depends on your preferences, and if you’d rather have a toy almost always set at the highest power for the vibration settings, here again, you would not be disappointed by the Elegance.

There are 3 control buttons on the Elegance, the Plus (+), the Minus (-) and the Asterisk (*), and they are lighted when you press them or if you move your hand over the controls when it is turned off. Pressing once on the Plus turns it on, and by pressing it again, you’ll go through six constant vibration intensities (that I could discern), going from low to a powerful high. You must go back through the settings to turn it off with Minus. At any moment when it is activated, you can press on the Asterisk to access the special vibration settings. You can also turn it on by holding the Asterisk button to access directly the vibrations options or off by holding the Minus button, from any setting. The noise volume is relatively low compared to other toys, and is more quiet than a bullet, even at the strongest setting.

The pulsation vibrations are:
1. Intense throbbing.
2. Quick pulses
3. Slower pulses that seem to escalate a little.
4. A less intense version of the slower pulses.

As I said before, this toy is rechargeable and the first charging can take up to 12 hours, that is, if the charger stays perfectly in place on the FUN logo to insure an ideal charging of the toy. The charger is included in the package, and as you can see it’s in the smaller box next to the main toy. During charging, Elegance was resting on a countertop and would sometimes move, which could shift the position of the charger as well. You can tell by the bright red light that appears on the charger. When the position isn’t optimal, the red light is dimmed or completely turned off. And it can take a while to get a good position. Also, note that with this type of rechargeable battery, it is better regularly charged and should be stored fully charge to prolong its longevity.

So, in the end, I cannot say that I was satisfied by this product since I do not plan on using it vaginally anymore, and considering the other high-quality vibrators on the market lately, this one does not seem to be part of the real competition. I know most people do not have a few other $100 vibrators available to compare with, but trust me that when it comes to vibrations, Lelo is offering a lot more options on slimmer and smoother toys, even if they aren’t waterproof. So in the end, it all goes down to what you really want and will actually use on a toy. So if you decide it would work for you, then you can get it at this sex toy store I trust.

Note: After getting more information on this toy, whether or not it could have been defective, it was, but not for the reason I expected. The white velvet stuff was missing in a few spots, like the very tip of the toy, creating a few random softer spots. This means that the rough texture that I did not like WAS the normal texture. Fun Factory said that this texture had been created for people who like “SHORT and SLOW strokes”. Fine with me, but it was not something for me, since I could not even get the initial penetrations to feel smooth, not even with extra lubricant and after a first orgasm.

I received the 9-Function Playful Curve for review by Cal Exotics, and once again, I have really enjoyed their new toy. It is a waterproof toy that has 9 vibrations settings, from constant vibrations to some unusual vibration patterns (also hard to describe).

It is a slender plastic vibrator that has very pleasant vibrations patterns. The widest point, at the rounded part of the shaft, is 1 ¼” wide, and makes this toy suitable for pretty much everyone with that size. The only part to take in consideration is the sheer power of this toy. It is quite seriously powerful, especially since it is only uses 2 AAA batteries (not included), and if you tend to associate the number and size of batteries to estimate the power of a toy, you will be surprised with this one.

The plastic used for this vibrator is ABS plastic with a PU coating, and the cap is made of ABS only. If you want more information about this material and how to care for it, you can click here . The fact that it is made of plastic make the vibrations travel very well through the tip of the toy, and it is every difficult to guess exactly where the motor is location, but I guess it is in the rounded part due to size.

The tip is also curved to reach the g-spot I suppose, but it didn’t seem to work for me. I tried poking a little here and there, but with the high vibrations, it was hard to pinpoint anything. Instead, I found that I preferred using this toy externally, with the tip at the entrance of my vagina while the rounded shaft would be resting against my clit. This position was quite stimulating, and made the button clicking easy.

When it comes to performance, it does the job very well, and it even felt too strong at times. All the vibrations beyond the second settings felt at least high, if it can give you an idea of how strong this is.

The vibration settings are:
1. Medium constant vibration.
2. High constant vibration.
3. Very high constant vibration.
4. Quick succession of 4 pulses.
5. Two one-second long pulses, then a long two-second pulse.
6. Series of varying pulses and a longer pulse at the end.
7. Two-second pulses
8. Quick throbbing pulses and a longer one at the end.
9. Stuttering and slightly escalating pulses.

However, with power comes noise, which is not always something we like, but unless a completely silent toy is invented, we have to deal with this. The noise is loud, much louder than the vibrations of a cellphone, and can easily be heard through a closed door even with some relaxing background music.

The vibrator is also waterproof, and I washed it under running water, and I didn’t see any water get in, so it would definitely be safe in a shower. It is not very difficult to give the cap a slight twist to get it open, and as such, I would not be too comfortable with playing too much in water, as I’d worry more about the cap opening than having some water leak into it.

I think the only drawback this toy has is that it does not have an instant off button, and that you have to cycle though the patterns to turn it off. Also if you go too fast in clicking on the button, you may skip the “Off” setting and go through a completely new cycle before being able to turn it off.

So all in all, the Playful Curve is more than just playful, it’s a real player. So if you are not ready for very strong vibrations, you might need to wait before getting this one. Otherwise, it has some very good vibration patterns that are hard to come by.

I received the Mini Scoop for review from Cal Exotics, and I’m not sure it’s a toy that really works with me considering that I like direct stimulation, but I managed to find a few things that I like about it. The scoop is there if you want to tease or have indirect stimulation for the clitoris, which is why I’m biased when it comes to appreciating it to its true value.

This toy is really designed for sensitive women, and if the tiniest pressure is applied on the clitoral area, the sides of the scoop dig into the skin and are not comfortable. Without pressure, the toy is quite teasing, as I said before, and with how my body is, I could hold it in place between my outer labia at the lower settings, which was what I liked best about it (experience may vary). At least the back of the scoop is round and could be used like a regular bullet, but even then, that idea didn’t come right away.

This tiny vibrator is made of hard plastic with silver and gold plating, and if you want to know about the material and how to care for it click here. Unlike most bullets out there, this one is a little bit larger, being about 3 ½” long and the scoop is ¾” wide. Some sections of the toy are connected with some type of softer plastic, like the head and the base part, but it also allows the vibe to be waterproof.

The Mini Scoop is turned on by turning clockwise a flat dial cap at the very base, which also allows the toy to be placed upright on a flat surface. As for power, the lowest setting is quite low, and the highest setting is very much like a regular bullet and seems to have the same buzzing tone and level. It also works with a N1 battery, which is included with the toy. The battery has to be placed with the negative side inward, or you’ll only get a single vibration intensity.

So all in all, it is essentially a pimped bullet, with an original shape and various vibration intensities. The only negative point I can tell about this tiny vibrator is that it is not particular pleasing to look at with all the different connected sections. The Patchy Paul was a toy that had been tempting me for a long time, and I finally decided to give it a try. I thought that the bulge might not be comfortable and that the widening shaft would be too much, but I was wrong. In the end, I just couldn’t resist the cute little shape and the rich melon color.

I used this toy alone and with someone driving it, and I have no dissatisfaction for the shape at all. Actually, I was pleasantly surprised to see how good the nose of the toy felt, as if I was having my g-spot fingered nicely. The bumps along the shafts are the gentlest type of textures. They’re not particularly noticeable, but at least, you’re not getting a completely smooth toy. I can appreciate smooth toys, but I need to be in the mood.

As for the actual size of the toy, the shaft, that goes from a slim neck of 1 ½” to a wider 1 ¾” base, didn’t give the impression of being too large, but just right for a good penetration. Usually, I’d feel like 1 ¾” is on the large size for me, but considering that the toy has an insertion length of 6”, I didn’t really reach the widest diameter. As for the tip, it is slightly narrower than 1 ¼”, but since the back of the head to the very tip is 2” long, it can apply a substantial pressure to the g-spot.

When it comes to the vibrations, I only wish that the toy would be stronger. I’m saying this only because I have other stronger toys, and if Patchy Paul was one of my first toys, I’d be over the moon. It’s still strong enough to do the job, don’t get me wrong, but a little bit of variety other than low to medium-high would have been nice.

There is a trick to opening the battery cap, and you have to press inside the tips of the parabolas on the side of the shaft. You will then hear a small click, and be able to insert the batteries. There is no specific order for inserting the batteries, and as long as the two AA batteries are opposed in polarity, the vibrator will work. To turn it on, you have to turn the dial base, on either side, to go through the increasing intensity of the vibrations. The maximum intensity is reached after half a turn. After that, if you turn more to complete a full rotation, the vibration will gradually decrease to a full power off.

The vibrator is only splashproof, but it will still survive if some water enters the battery compartment. I had washed my toy in running water, and a lot of water got into it. So I had to keep the toy open and let it dry for a day to make sure there was no more water in it. The toy worked just fine afterwards, but I do try to be more careful with it.

You can also get this toy from sex toy store I trust, and a new upgraded version is also available at that site. It became available after I received this one for review, and I’m pretty sure the new one is amazing.
